Interview
What got you into programming?
I was actually a psychology major in college! I took one CS elective to fulfill a requirement and got completely hooked. There's something magical about writing code and seeing it come to life. I ended up double majoring and never looked back.
How did you find our community?
I was struggling with a bug in one of your tools and found the Discord while searching for solutions. The people there were so helpful—not just fixing my issue but explaining the underlying concepts. I wanted to give back, so I started contributing.
What's your favorite contribution you've made?
Definitely the CLI autocomplete feature. It was technically challenging and took months to get right, but now every time I see someone mention how useful it is, I feel a wave of satisfaction. Knowing my code helps people every day is incredible.
What advice would you give to new contributors?
Start small and don't be afraid to ask questions. My first PR was fixing a typo in the docs. From there, I gradually took on bigger challenges. The community is incredibly supportive—use that resource. And remember, every contribution matters, no matter how small.
"The best code is the code that helps someone else write better code."
