How we work
Halide Studio is 9 people in one room in Portland. The photographer who lights your set sits next to the retoucher who finishes it, so nothing is lost in a handoff.
A single exposure at midday is enough. We relight it for golden hour, dusk and night, so a 1 day shoot covers a full campaign.
Dust, seams and reflections are removed by hand at 300 percent. Move over the photo to inspect it the way we do before delivery.
Most projects take 5 working days from shoot to delivery, with 2 rounds of changes included.
An about section for a photography and retouching studio laid out as two equal columns. The left column holds the eyebrow, heading and description above the first photo stage, while the right column starts with the second stage and ends with a short note and two buttons, so the two stages sit offset from each other. The first stage relights one photograph across a whole day and the second is a magnifier for inspecting retouched detail, each with a title and a short paragraph. Both stages are borderless and share one aspect ratio.
